Besides the look of the shell stitch, when you work in a shell stitch it makes your project work up much faster! So, that is a plus. I do wonder about stretch ability with a cotton yarn. That would be a down side for me. However, the overall look of this slouchy beanie is beautiful! The ombr color scheme is just right, too.

This is the ultimate slouchy beanie for me. It is so beautiful in ombre design with changing colors from white to light blue then dark blue. It is also modeled for mother and daughter twinning which is the in thing these days. Another things, this Grayscale Ombre Slouch used a stitch that has not been very commonly used for slouchy beanies. These hats can very well serve its purpose especially this winter season and at the same time it can be the season's fashion statement. This is one type of beanie any fashionista would like to have in her wardrobe.

Such a pretty hat! I love the ombre design, and the neutral colors mean this hat will pair well with just about anything.
