I have not made this Sturdiest Ever Farmers Market Crochet Bag yet. After reading the written pattern it sounds like it will work out, even though there is no directions for the hdc3 stitch. I think the is doing 3 half double crochet stitches in the space. I read all the comments and people have asked and she never did explain it. ??? I will not be adding the flower, it will look fine without it.. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet market bag pattern.

I've got to make myself one of these bags. This is great to take to a famer's market so I can carry my purchases. The open weave will help veggies and fruit 'breathe' and stay fresh until I get the purchases home. I like that it is a simple pattern, a sturdy shopping bag. These would be nice bags for all kinds of things to be carried safely. The flower isn't something I'd add, to be honest. I'd like to keep it plain. Will you add the flower?

I think I may have finally found a market bag that really is sturdy enough to hold a wet towel, pool sandals, and a full water bottle. I have designed and make several of my own bags, but they were more for casual use not as functional as this green bag. Things I like the different handle orientation, the solid bottom, and the large size. Using just 10 oz. of cotton yarn, this is really affordable to make!

That gren tote is just ugly. I'm dumping favecrafts.

LINK FIXED!! Easy to follow. Do note that this pattern requires you to use two stands of yarn, so I'm not sure I'd label it easy, but if you are a beginner try it out, you never know what you can do until you try it. Take your time and if you find it difficult use a larger hook.

Does anyone read the comments? Today is another day and still no way to find the pattern for this purse. I'm very disappointed in you and in Pinterest. Judyth

Hi Judy, the green purse and the purse pictured here are the same design - just with two different yarn colors. If you follow the pattern, you should be able to make the same purse. - Julia from FaveCrafts

I have looked everywhere for the pattern for this bag. Every link I click on takes me to the green bag. I don't want to make the green bag. I want to make this one. Is this misleading? Also the pop up ads are most annoying.
