Clay Flowers 2 Ways

  • Polymer clay in various colors
  • Silicone molds
  • Straight pin
  • Perfect pearls and soft brush (optional)

  1. Soften your clay.
  2. Pinch of a small amount of clay and push it into the silicone mold. Be sure to get clay into all of the crevices, but do not leave any hanging out over the edges of the design.
  3. Carefully flex the mold and coax the clay back out.
  4. You can leave the embellishments as-is, or add color and shimmer by brushing them gently with Perfect Pearls.
  5. Bake according to the package directions.

Small flowers but looks a bit difficult to mold.

I just had to return to add a little tip to this. Perfect peRls are very pretty but a tad out of my budget. At around $3 each a set of six or seven colors gets expensive. I found something that works just as well. Pastel chalk. I got a box of 64 for less than $12. Just scrape some off the piece of the color you want to use and go at it. Everyone keeps asking where I find these beautiful colors.

Well that was way too easy! I thought it was very complicated to make clay flowers. You just blew that thought. And the perfect pearls was just something added to make my day. I am making beads to use in my jewelry projects and that will give everything an added glow. Thank you for sharing.
