Decoupage terra cotta pots with beautiful paper designs. This flower pots craft is great for scrapbookers who have a green thumb. Dig into that paper stash! You know you have a ton of paper in drawers and boxes that you haven't used and maybe never will, unless you make this craft. It's a beautiful Mod Podge craft that will add so much life to your plants, whether they go indoors or outdoors! This is also a great craft to brighten up your decor this winter. Make a beautiful new project with inexpensive materials you probably already have in your stash.

Materials List

  • Ceramic flower pot
  • Scrapbook paper
  • Decoupage medium
  • Sponge brush
  • Polycrylic protective finish
  • Embellishments


  1. Cut the paper into strips.

  2. Using your sponge brush, apply the decoupage medium to the pot. Add pieces of paper over the decoupage, and then add more decoupage on top.

  3. Repeat that step, covering the entire pot.

  4. Once it's try, paint over it with polycrylic finish. This gives it an added protective layer.

  5. Add embellishments as desired and you're done!

Ah! This is amazing. No need to throw away those old flower pots or better yet if you picked some up on a yard sale then this is how you can make them beautiful again. Just use some of your scrapbook paper and follow the instructions. It's as easy as that, they will last much longer all touched up and pretty plus you can give these pots away as s gift to someone CV special.

Woah! Never would have thought to decoupage an old ceramic flower pot with scrappaper to make a pretty piece. I love it and with Mother's day right around the corner this came at a perfect time. So easy and fun to decorate any way you like and you can use up some of your scrapbook stash. Put on some embellishment or even lace, All ou need is scrapbook paper,mod podge,embellishments if you like , pots and some polycrylic protective finish and you are on your way to a perfect creation by you. So why not give those old pots a new look.
