Student Hall Pass

Roam the halls of the school and get away with it! This kid craft project is a cute and crafty way for kids to leave the classroom. Use this hall pass to go to the nurses office and hopefully not to the principal's!

DecoArt Products Required

  • Americana Acrylics
    • DAO10 - Cadmium Yellow (transparent)
    • DA199 - Primary Red
    • DAO55 - Kelly Green
  • Medium unfinished wood tag, Lara's Crafts PT1001
  • 30-mm round foam stencil brush
  • 1/2" flat brush
  • Scissors
  • Foam plate
  • Ruler
  • Three 10" lengths of scrapbooking school-themed ribbons
  • Ultra fine point and fine point black permanent markers
  • Flame lighter

Note: Let dry after each step.

  1. Use flat brush and Cadmium Yellow to paint tag.
  2. Refer to photo and use foam stencil brush dipped in Primary Red to paint four dots across upper area of tag.
  3. Use foam stencil brush dipped in Kelly Green to paint four dots across lower area of tag.
  4. Apply coat of Multi-Purpose Sealer to rectangle.
  5. Use fine point marker to write letters for "HALL PASS" over center of dots. Use ultra fine point marker to write teacher name at hole end of tag.
