What I like about this Valentine's Day themed coffee cozy are the subdued colors. It is much better than a red, white, and pink color theme. The stone gray and ecru mixed with the cherry red hearts really make those hearts pop- it has sort of a country look to it. Use triple crochets and double crochets to create the hearts.
