If you like to stand out in the crowd, this blue fuzzy ear warmer from Lion Brand Yarn is a great way to do so while also keeping warm in the winter. Use this free crochet ear warmer pattern to make your own quickly and easily.
Materials:
- 320-170 Fun Fur Yarn: Peacock
- Lion Brand Crochet Hook - Size K-10.5 (6.5 mm)
Gauge:
12 stitches + 14 rows = 4" (10 cm) in single crochet.
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
Instructions:
Chain 11 sts. Single crochet into 2nd chain from hook and each chain across; ch 1, turn – 10 single crochets. Continue in single crochet until piece measures 21 inches or desired length. Slip stitch ends together, fluffing fur out of seam.

The secret is to use a big hook (bigger than what you'd think) and crochet very loose. OR you could knit it with needles. Much easier!
