    Multiple Use Fabric Flowers

    Materials:

    • Fabric aprox. 30 x 6 cm
    • Thread
    • Needle
    • Button
       

    Instructions:

    1. Cut 5 circles of fabric with a diametre of 8 cm.


       
    2. Fold the circles at the middle and at the middle again to get the petals. Sew the petals by the free border. Do it by hand with long stitch.

    4. Pull the thread to knit.


       
    5. Put the first and last petals together and sew.


       
    6. Put a button as a center and sew.

    I can so find so many things to use this cute little flower on like purses,headbands pillows, clothing the list can go on and if you want a larger one cut cut circles larger. You can use any leftover fabric to make these and keep them in a basket until you need one if you like. Add a embellishment in center or gemstone instead of button. Such a fast and easy flower to make and a good step by step tutorial with pictures. Thanks for the project.

    I tried this but the hole in the middle was a lot bigger than the one shown. I will try with a thinner fabric as I used a t shirt material this time.

    It is very useful and very easy. if given the enough time to do it, it is a simple income generating thing. the simple dyi project has many usage. Brilliant idea!!!!
