Zero Waste Elastic Bowl Covers

Zero Waste Elastic Bowl Covers
Zero Waste Elastic Bowl Covers

"Make your own elastic bowl covers to save your food, waste and money. This is a great project to practice sewing binding without a lot of risk as you might with a quilt or larger project. Stretch a bowl cover over a plate, mug or bowl to save food as you would use plastic wrap. The covers are washable and reusable making them a wonderful option for moving toward a zero waste lifestyle, or if you just like to save money and have pretty things in your kitchen. A set of three in coordinating fabric makes a great gift!"

NotesIf you are making more than one elastic bowl cover, trace the circle on multiple pieces of fabric and cut. This saves time tracing and making a seam allowance on each.
