Oh my! I didn't know there was a different way to use ribbon.i love the miniature roses, they would look amazing on just about any project you work on. All it takes is some ribbon which can't be hard to find and some spare minutes to finish your rose. I have a crotchet hat that will look ten times better with these rose on.

To be honest, I have seen these and really liked them but always figured they would be complicated to make. Now I see it's only twisting, rolling and stitching! How easy is that! I will make some small ones to put on the baby girl dress yokes that I crochet! Thank you!

I agree, too, that pictures would be nice to see exactly what they did, but I think I could figure it out. I just threw out some small pieces of ribbon and I should have known better! I am thinking of making different sizes and gluing them into a bouquet on paper to put it in a picture frame. Maybe use green ribbon as stems and leaves?

I agree that I wish there were pictures, but I think I get the idea. I don't know about burning the edge to secure it. I think I'd rather hot glue it or sew it. I don't know what they mean by burning it, with what? And how? If anyone does the project, add some pictures for us! I'll try to as soon as I get around to making these.

These ribbon roses are so cute and I can see using these roses on a lot of things. Hats, purses, hair bows, decoupage and many other things. They can be expensive to buy them in the stores when you can make them yourself. I always have leftover ribbon and a great way to use it up. I wish there would have had some pictures of the steps though to understand how to roll the ribbon. Anyone else think so? But I did like the idea to make them yourself.
