Sunflower Notepad Book

A little yellow notepad from Arnold Grummer's Paper Making Kits and Supplies never looked better! Decorate this handy notebook to keep with you to jot down ideas for your crafting inspirations or use it as a handmade journal.

Supplies:

• Arnold Grummer's Cotton Linter Casting Squares: 2 oz package
• Arnold Grummer's Sunflower Ceramic Casting Mold
• 3" x 3" yellow self-stick notepad
• 8 1/2" x 11" text weight printed paper: one sheet
• Ribbon
• Scissors
• Gluestick

Steps:

1. Make a sunflower paper cast. Add a 2" x 2" piece of photocopy paper to pulp while blending to give the cast a harder surface for painting.
    
2. Paint cast with watercolor and nearly dry brush. Alternative: Color details of cast with watercolor pencils. Gently blend colors with brush and (very little) water.
    
3. Construct notepad book cover with preprinted paper.
    
4. Attach cast, glue notepad to inside of back cover, finish with ribbon bow.
