This is really cute. I am always cold, so this would be perfect for summer evenings. I think I will make up a few in different colours so I have a nice variety black, grey, beige, and white for sure. It says it is made to fit an average lady. What size is an average lady? I guess I will only know if I need to adjust it by trying to make it first.

Made a few of these for people. Was nice for my sister who is always cold, especially in restaurants in the summer. It takes the chill off, can fit in a purse. I made it in a neutral color (taupe) to accommodate to any of her wardrobe. She loves it! To make it bigger or smaller, I would suppose you could add/subtract rows and length to the pattern, and/or a different size of needles.

How would you adjust the pattern to fit a small or medium petite?

I love this pattern! But being kinda new to the world of knitting, how would I enlarge it to fit a 2X or 3X lady instead of an average one?

Increase by multiples of 4. The pattern just repeats 4 knit stitches and 4 purl stitches. Hope that makes sense ) I made this and really liked it however it was slightly to small, next time I'll be making it slightly wider.

I love it. Thank you paphis@gmail.com
