Materials:

  • Chameleon Art Pens; Olive Green, Bark, Warm Sunset, Penny Black
  • Tiger Lily stamp
  • Hello die
  • Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black
  • Bee Paper
  • Bo Bunny Soft Shades Double Dot paper
  • SRM Sticker Stitches Halloween
  • Spellbinders Embossing Folder Dainty Dots
  • Standard Circles Large and Lacey Circles dies
  • Mirri card Gold
  • Centura Pearl White card

 

Instructions:

  1. Stamp image onto Bee paper using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

  2. Colour the petals of the flower with Warm Sunset. Apply the mixing chamber of the pen to the brush nib for 5 seconds and then work from the middle of the petal towards the tip, repeat this process from the middle this time to the centre of the flower.  This will give the illusion that the light is hitting the centre of each petal. Repeat for all petals.

  3. Colour the stems and buds with Olive Green, again leave the mixing chamber on the nib for around 5 seconds and then work from the centre of the bud towards the edge.  This will  make the bud appear rounded. Add a hint of Warm Sunset to the centre of the buds to make the highlighting of the centre more prominent.

  4. Colour the tips of the stamen with Bark and then fussy cut around the flower.

  5. Add Patterned paper to card blank and apply sticker stitches down each side, die cut frame from Mirri Card and emboss white card, adhere all elements to card base. Thread die cut flower through frame and add foam pads to petals to raise from the base of the card.
