How to Recycle Baby Food Containers

We save the new plastic square baby food containers and place small amt of glitter, sequins, buttons, glue, paint whatever we are working with in them. It is great for younger kids and it avoids big messes by not spilling out whole contaniers of things. We also use those days of the week pill reminders for small objects such as sequins and earring or jewelry pieces they work great for those. My girls are 3 and 4 and they love to use them to sort colors of things we are using i.e. buttons.

I used the plastic containers from baby foods to make blocks for my baby and she liked them more than the store bought. Wash containers and let dry find objects around the house (small and colorful works best)I used some grains of dry rice colored with markers. place objects inside containers use hot glue gun on warm setting so as not to melt plastic place three dots of glue on all sides place lid on top press firmly and let dry I made about a hundred of these and we spent hours playing with them together, and discovering all the different sounds they all make use your imagination there are a lot of different items around the house you can use in these little containers.

    great ideas for the jars!!

I love all the free crochet patterns. How can I submit one of mine?

I love the craft tips you give. I used to make Christmas trees out of the jars. You need wood disks to glue the jars on. Each row gets smaller as they go up. You put colored water in the jars and add tinsel around each row. I used a large flower pot for the stand. This is old, you may already know about it. When I made them the jars were glass.
