Simple DIY Fairy Garden

"Want to add some whimsy to your yard? This simple DIY fairy garden is the answer! You’ll turn your tree base into a magical scene in no time. One place I would recommend for your DIY fairy garden accessories is Oriental Trading. They have SO many craft and hobby supplies. You’ll be able to find everything I have shown – the ladybugs, mushroom, door, wooden stepping stones, mossy mounds, and branches – plus so much more."

I love this idea and really wish there were more fairy garden ideas.

The finished project shown after scrolling to the bottom of the webpage is just adorable. She's got a bird feeder and one of those tree faces on the tree. Her tip for getting the tiny mushrooms to stay standing and not topple over hot glue a popsicle stick to the bottom and then stick in into the dirt or mulch. She also gives a good suggestion as to where you can get a full array of fairy accessories. What a great family craft project, especially for the little, little ones.
