Spring Wood Slice Wreath

You have seen these charming spring wreath ideas in the stores for way more money that you want to spend. Luckily, you can easily learn how to make a wreath with wood slices all on your own. The Spring Wood Slice Wreath utilizes pre-cut pieces of wood, a particle board base, and hot glue to make this au natural idea. Many crafters can be intimidated by wood craft ideas, but with already cut out materials from the craft store you can easily create DIY wood projects without ever touching a dangerous, sharp saw.

Materials List

  • Pieces of pre-cut wood in a variety of sizes
  • Particle board wreath base
  • Hot glue gun
  • Scissors
  • Vintage ribbons and trims

How to Make a Wreath

  1. Hot glue on the larger bits of wood around the wreath base.

  2. Begin adding in smaller wood bits, layering them up and around.

  3. Once wreath base is covered, tie on ribbons and trims to create bow.

  4. Cut ends to liking.
