Sew Perfect Mending Box

From the Designer: "We all have a bit of mending to do…..either a button that needs to be sewn back on (if we were lucky in catching it before it fell off….smile)……have needles and several spools of different colors of thread and a small pair of scissors handy is good. Having it in a lovely container is even better! Since Arnold Grummer not only promoted making paper but also encouraged using things instead of tossing them…..I am happy to follow his lead."

What!! This mending box is made from those pizza boxes we all throw out. Are you kidding. What a great idea to keep supplies for mending in so you do not have to search all through your sewing drawers to find needles, thread, buttons and a your other things and it is so much prettier than laying all over the place. This will be a good box to keep coloring things or office and you will not have to search no more. Why not make soe with your kids this summer to keep their room organized and looking nice.

I love to have a mending box handy and to have one that is sleek looking is even better! I think it would be cute with any type of die cut on the side. Sewing notions would be real cute as well as a cupcake theme. The directions seem pretty clear. I can't wait to try this. I'll have to visit the local pizza shop and ask for a box. This box would be nice for holding other items too like desk supplies.
