Instructions:

Preparation:

  1. Wash with warm soapy water. Dry using a lint free cloth or allow to air dry.

  2. Apply liberal coat of Surface Conditioner using the 1” wash brush. When the surface conditioner has evaporated and turns milky it is ready to begin painting on.

  3. Always use PermEnamel Gloss Glaze or Thinner as a floating agent. Water will break down the properties of the paint.

  4. When working with PermEnamel it takes a little more patience. Glass does not absorb the color, there for is more transparent and takes more coats to cover.

  5. A good method with PermEnamel is to apply the first coat to all colors and allow to cure overnight. Apply a light coat of conditioner in the morning and finish painting.

  6. Cut around the smallest butterfly and free it from the stencil. Using ¼”” stenciling brush tap lightly into 14K Gold PermEnamel and tap off excess on palette, then tap over open areas of the stencil. Referring to color picture for placement, repeat stenciling the butterflies in 14K Gold.

  7. Repeat the entire stenciling process with White Frost positioning butterfly randomly.

  8. Using Paint and Toss Wedge apply White Frost to the round base of candleholder.

  9. Paint bottom ring and the top ring, going two inches up onto the candleholder in Wisteria using 1” wash brush.

  10. Paint the center ring in a mix 1:Royal Purple to 2:Wisteria using #10 shader.

  11. Create the 14K Gold bands around the rings with the #1 liner.

To Finish:

  1. Apply an even coat of Gloss Glaze to the painted areas only if desired.

  2. After air-drying for 10 days PermEnamel. After curing for 10 days PemEnamel becomes microwave, dishwasher and oven safe up to 350 degrees.
