"Simple Summertime Baby Sundress is a crochet + fabric baby dress. If you know basic methods of sewing and crocheting you can make a beautiful dress combining these two methods. All you want to get 100 total yards of #4 medium 100% cotton yarn, a piece of cotton fabric about 40″ x 40″ and two buttons to attach to the straps. You can make this beautiful dress for 12 – 18 months old little girls."

Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet Gauge15 hdc x 9 rows = 4″ with 4.5 mm crochet hook.

This Simple Summertime Baby Sundress is easy to make as it only requires crocheting the bodice as the skirt part is simply made of cotton. You can use other attractive designs for the skirt, in different colors, pastels, bright colors. The possibilities are endless. You can also use colored yarn for the bodice instead of just white for more excitement.

Such a cute and quick idea! Your little girl will look precious in this little dress. And no one else will be wearing anything close. You could work up several of these in a day. They also will be so comfortable to wear on a hot day. I would personally work the bodice up in a nice soft cotton yarn.
