"The pattern as written fits an average size adult head but could be easily resized adjusting the starting foundation row. This hat is really fun decorated with fairy lights but could also have miniature decorations or beads added to jazz it up a little! I have included a video tutorial on my website to show you how to sew the tree shut, crochet on the garland, sew the star and add fairy lights. If you have no need of a hat this pattern could be made into a tabletop decoration by filling with poly fil and crocheting a simple circle for the bottom and sewing it shut."
