Everyday Crocheted Kimono Pattern

"This simple crochet pattern is so easy to make and the kimono is stylish and classic! It's a great project for beginners as there is no difficult shaping and it's made from simple crocheted rectangles. You'll also find helpful links to stitch tutorials within the pattern itself. Grab your size J hook and worsted weight yarn to get started! The pattern uses an alpaca blend in order to make it extra cozy, but you can use any size 4 yarn that you like. Enjoy!"

I am a big fan of crochet patterns of this nature. The item is a modest design and will flatter any figure. I noticed that the arm hole is rather large and I guess that would be a personal preference as in step two the designer did indicate that she wanted wide openings. This will work well for the fall weather where I live and into some of the winter.

Amazing to think that this crocheted kimono is created with two rectangular panels and a little "dippy do" as my Grand mother would say. I like easy. That always makes the project fun.

HOw wonderful that I found this here today. Lion Brand Jeans yarn (colors, too!) happens to be on sale right now at JoAnn. That will make making this kimono extra budget-friendly for me! I love no shaping. THe simpler the better, I always say. Just two panels made with half double crochets and that is it.
