These would be a neat storage container to make up and fill with various needed items for a college student. They have limited space in their dorm rooms and this would contain art supplies, pens, scissors etc. plus things for personal care such as swabs, bandages, toothpaste and more. The yarn could either be the college or the student's favorite colors.

This is so cute. The directions are so easy to follow. I want to make a bunch for the bathroom. They can hang on the wall or set on a shelf to hold small things. Q-tips, Bobby pins, floss sticks, and so many more. You use up your left over yarn and clean up your bath too.

What a cute idea to use up scrap yarn. It is such a simple idea that can be incorporated for use all around the house. I love it. It looks knit. It is worked around sideways versus up and down orientation. Create one with a contrasting border for extra interest.
