Swirls Crochet Stocking

- 1 skein TLC Amore yarn in Celery and small amount in Scarlet
- H crochet hook or hook needed to obtain gauge
- needle and invisible (clear) sewing thread
Gauge: 3 hdc sts = 1”, 2 rows hdc = 1”

Outer Edging

ROW 1: With both sides of the stocking tog, scarlet yarn and H hook, join in side of row 1 through both thickness’, ch-1, evenly sc around the outer edge of the sticking working through both thickness’, ch-3, turn.
- ROW 2: 4 dc in sa st as previous ch-3, (sk 2 sts, sc next st, sk 2 sts, 5 dc next st) across ending: sk 2 sts, sc next st, sk 2 sts, (4 dc, ch-3, sl st) next st, fasten off.
Inner Edging

RND 1: With scarlet yarn and H hook join in any st on inside (top) edge of stocking, ch-1, sc sa st as beg ch-1, evenly sc ea st around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn.

ROW 2 (HANGING TAB): Sc next 3 sts, leave remaining sts unworked, ch-1, turn. (3 sts)

ROW 3-12: Sc ea st across, ch-1, turn. End row 12 fasten off.
- Sew row 12 row 2 to complete hanging tab.
Pocket (Make 2 and Sew to Front of Stocking)

ROW 1: With scarlet yarn and H hook ch-16, hdc 3rd ch from hook, hdc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (14 sts)
- ROW 2-10: Hdc ea st across, ch-1, turn. End row 10 fasten off.
Swirls

Ch-20 with yarn and H hook, fasten off.
- Make 3 in celery and 3 in scarlet. With needle and thread sew to stocking curling the ch length as you sew.

What a ugly color! I wouldn't use 'celery' for the main body. GREEN is the color or RED or WHITE, but nothing that would make you gag.

This is very ugly and workmanship terrible. I was inspired by the pattern name but won't bother to even read the pattern the picture was so offputting.
