Please help - what is the size of hook in metric?

Shell Tr, p 4 times, tr in indicated sp. hi i was wondering if you help me with this im stuck on Tr, p not sure what it means. thanks in advance

Hi there! p in crochet stands for picot. I hope that helps!

Pretty! This would make a nice little present for grandma or for the kids' teacher. I'll make mine without the filament thread. Working tiny crochet is a little more challenging for me, I get a little clumsy with the fine thread, but I'll give this an attempt. Has anyone else used a size 10 crochet thread with this? Is that too thick?

This is a beautiful Crochet Violets Pin! After reading the pattern above, I had to do a Google search for the Kreinik Metallics blending filament. Then I was 'Oh that's what it is", I bought a sack of threads and yarns at a thrift store a while back and it has about 15 new bobbins of this. I really had no idea what to do with them. Now with the beautiful pin pattern I do. So nice to see what it really does and this pattern is very well written and I will be doing this one. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern and helping me discover new materials to work with.

Oh gosh this is pretty, it looks so fresh. What a perfect embellishment for a throw pillow or a little girl's dress pocket. I have never really learned to crochet past the basics but these violets make me want to pick up a hook and get started.

Beautiful pattern! I just saved this for my mother for mother's day! I would just recommend using the crochet hooks that have the soft padded handles, because it will make crocheting something so small much easier! It will also be less fatigue on your wrists and hands as they are ergonomic. I got myself a set a month ago, and I love them!

Is there a rose pattern like the violets

I absolutely love this. I hope I am not being too dense but what is BFA? I really would love to make this but I don't have a clue what this is. Thanks for a beautiful pattern and for the info.

It means blending filament purple

There's a good article on this site about the blending filament. It gives tips on working with it, tying knots, and it seems that some advance needle workers remove the core string out of it, although that's not recommended. You can see a little of the sparkle in the purple in this violet pattern.

hello i have the crochet violet pin paatern ,but i am having difficulties with the doily on rnd 4 with the lp could you explain this please thankyou

thankyou i will go to the site,

I love it, but unfortunately i don't know how to crochet, and i don't have anyone near me that can make one fo rme.

You can definitely learn to crochet by watching YouTube videos! Also, join a Facebook crochet group and you will have a lot of nice people willing to help you! Be warned, though, you're going to get "hooked"! lol Then start taking you WIP (work in project) with you to crochet while waiting places, and you'll meet people who just can't wait to talk to you about it!

Does anyone have a crochet lotus flower pattern? I would like to make a corsage for my niece for her wedding shower and the lotus flower is her theme.

how do you do the p stitch?

Hi, yarnit 7156198. Look for the PDF link on the manufacturer's website. For the crochet violets pin, you'll find it on the following page: http://www.kreinik.com/kshop/product.php?productid=119&cat=33&page=1 MissMaggie's suggestion does not save the project to your computer. That process only saves a link to it in your favecrafts account, which is probably not anything near what you were asking.

Hi yarnit 7156198, All you have to do is click the save project button at the top. Hope this helps! -Editors of FaveCrafts
