This is one of my favorite patterns ever. As you can see, I've made a LOT of them. I don't use them for pins - the three in the back have had stems added and I expect to have a gorgeous bouquet.

The pattern is very easy to follow. However, using the same type of yarn can be a challenge so I used Cattania cotton. The flower came out a bit more full and bigger. But i think is quite pretty as a brooch or home acessory.

I have a similar carnation pattern from Family Circle Magazine (dated 6/26/1979) for a bouquet of Carnations using "shaded pinks" of KnitCroSheen and a size 7 steel crochet hook. They are beautiful and easy to make.

cute idea

Hi peace4u, We are looking into this pattern. We have contacted the manufacturer to see if there is a missing step. Thanks, The FaveCrafts Team

There does not seem to be a follow up to the concern raised here almost a year ago, and one of the featured patterns in my email today is this very flower. It looks gorgeous but I dod not have the NRG to start something that will not work. Any other ideas, comments or information? Would love to make this for Easter!

I am having a problem understanding Flower Rnd 1 With RS facing, attach 1 strand BFA and 1 strand A held tog with a sl st in any ch-3 sp. I am not showing any ch-3 spaces to attach a string of BFA. Have I missed a step?

Thank you gorgeous
