Why You'll Love This Recycled Craft
There are so many reasons to try out our T-Shirt DIY Bracelets craft project! Here are the top 3 reasons why you should give it a go:
1. Upcycling: One of the main reasons to make these bracelets is the opportunity to upcycle old t-shirts that you no longer wear. Instead of letting them gather dust in your closet, you can give them new life by turning them into stylish accessories. Not only are you reducing waste, but you are also getting to be creative and resourceful with materials you already have on hand.
2. Customization: With this craft project, you have the freedom to customize your bracelets to suit your personal style. You can choose the colors and patterns of the t-shirts you use, as well as mix and match different materials like rattail cord to create a unique look. Whether you prefer a more minimalist design or a bold statement piece, the possibilities are endless when it comes to making these DIY bracelets.
3. Cost-effective: Making your own bracelets is not only fun and rewarding, but it can also save you money. Instead of buying expensive jewelry from stores, you can create your own bracelets at a fraction of the cost. All you need are a few basic materials and some time to braid them together. Plus, you can make multiple bracelets with just one t-shirt, making this craft project a budget-friendly option for those looking to add some new accessories to their collection.
So why not give our T-Shirt DIY Bracelets a try? It's a great way to get creative, express yourself, and have some fun with crafting!

I see young teens wearing this type of bracelets and wondered how much and wear they got them but this tutorial on how to make them is so super easy so why would you buy them. Make some yourself using old tee shirts and rat tail cord. They look super fun to make and a great summer project for the kids to do with some of their friends. Very inexpensive to do.

You know... just looking at these as braids, you could use them as really neat trim on, say, a jacket or a blanket. Of course you'd have to have several tshirts in the same colors for something as big as a blanket, but a little trim on the sleeves or cuffs of a jacket seems possible.

I remember people wearing these back in the 80s. We made them ourselves but if you were unable or unwilling to make them, you could also buy them. They are quick and simple to make, and a great way to use up old t-shirts. They are also great little items for craft tables at bazaars and fundraisers.

These bracelets are so cool. I love the two different colours used here. This craft is the best for kids to learn how to use t-shirt yarn.
