Pinecone Frame

Bring the outdoors inside with this easy and decorative Pinecone Frame.  Great for hanging on the mantel or using to frame a photo or mirror, this easy DIY fall project is a fun and clever way to spend a rainy afternoon.  You could also gather the kids together and head out to the forest preserve to begin your search for the perfect pinecones!  Looking for a craft that does double duty?  Use scented pinecones for a decoration that doubles as an air freshener.

Materials:

• Frame
• Scented Pinecones
• Hot glue gun/glue sticks

Instructions:

1. There wasn't much rhyme or reason to the placement of the pinecones. Approach it like you're piecing together a puzzle. I was pleased that the frame was black so if there was a small space left between pinecones it wasn't obvious.
