Soft stripes of blue and white in this knitting baby blanket pattern create a perfect cover for the new baby boy. This easy pattern from Bernat Yarns calls for circular knitting needles for a quick make. You can always adjust the colors to your own preferences.

Is there an error in this pattern? Shouldn't MK read: P2TOG without slipping stitches, then K the same 2 stitches? Otherwise, wouldn't youbedeceas Is there a pattern error with MK? Itseems to me you would P2TOG without slipping stitches, but then K2......not K2TOG. Has anyone made this?

Hi, Jamgal76 3944304. If you have specific questions about the pattern, we recommend contacting the pattern designer directly (as specified in the byline). Good luck! --Editors of FaveCrafts

I found the explination of MK difficult. Can you make this clearer for me?

The way I read it, you change colors whenever it tells you to. Basically that means you do the cast-on in the MC, then rows 1&2 in contrast color (A), then rows 3&4 will be MC again. If you change colors only when it tells you to, then you're doing two rows in each color, alternating 2 rows at a time, and then casting off in the MC again. Good luck!

i just finished the garter st. my colors are pink and green... MAIN COLOR IS PINK AND CONTRAST IS GREEN. ON ROW 2 P 1 MK 90 TIMES IS THIS MC OR CONTRAST?? WAITING TO HEAR THANKS
