Poppy Flower Pods

"In the late summer, I love to collect the dried poppy seed pods and put them in a vase as decoration. I love the shape of them. That's when I thought making a fabric version of these seed heads would be fun. I have designed a really simple pattern to recreate this natural beauty. They are hand-sewn and a great scrap buster. You can make them in various colours and fabrics, from denim to velvet and linen."
