Quick and Easy Mini Memory Flip Book

From the Designer: "I created a quick and easy mini memory flip book to document my most recent getaway. I chose to keep it clean and simple for those that find it hard to mix journaling cards, pattern papers and embellishments with photos. With this flip book, all you need to do is grab a kit that is already put together and the most recent photos that was taken with your smartphone or DSLR. Either print out the photos yourself or take them to shop to be printed. Work only with what is in the kit and the flip book will remain easy to put together."

  • Feed Your Craft Make It Matter Kit
  • We R Memory Keepers Crop-A- Dile Power Punch, 1/4"
  • Fuji Instax SP-2 Printer
  • Metal ring
  • Stazon Ink
  • Versafine Oynx Ink

Instructions

  1. Trim Deflecto's Flexible Pouch to 5 inches. That way the 3 x 4 journaling cards do not look like they are being swallowed by the pouch.

  2. Put the journaling cards in the order you want them to appear in each pouch.

  3. Add the journaling on one side of the card and adhere the photo to the other side of the card.

  4. Stamp sentiments on some of the journaling cards and/or photos. Add the flair embellishment to the photos, alternating the corners.

  5. Add the journaling cards to the pouches. Punch the holes to replace the ones that were trimmed off. Run the ring through each of the punch holes and closed the clasp. Done!

I think this is a great idea to create mini albums to remember trips and events. It could be used for so many other things as well. Picture albums, instructions, study notes, and patterns, are just a few things that come to mind. Because they are on a ring, you can add and remove things whenever you want.
