Wordy Bird Ornament

This bird has something to say!  This Wordy Bird Ornament is made with pages from a book to give it a unique and vintage look.  If you are trying a vintage theme this Christmas, these homemade bird ornaments are a must!

Materials:

• Vintage book pages or your favorite patterned papers
• Ttape, double sided works best
• Glue
• Embellishments of your choice
• Twigs for legs
• Ribbon or twine
• Bird and wing template
   

Instructions:

1. Cut out two bird bodies and one set of wings for each bird.
   
   
    
2. Decorate the wings to your liking, using glue and embellishments.
    
3. Tape the ribbon and twig legs to one of the bird bodies. Carefully line up the two bird bodies and tape them together, hiding the ends of the ribbon and stalks between them.
   
   
    
4. Put a dab of glue in the center and fold the wings over the birds' body.
