Bead Paint Jeans
Add beautiful elegance to jeans in a matter of minutes with Tulip Fashion Bead Paint.
- Aleene's Platinum Bond Super Fabric Textile Adhesive
- Tulip Fashion Bead Paint
- Ribbon, 1” wide, 3 yards
- Sequins, 3 yards fuchsia
- Fake fur, 1 yard tan
- Chalk pencil
Before painting, always prewash fabric to remove sizing. Do not use fabric softener.
Cut fur 4” wide and long enough to go around waist of jeans.
Squeeze glue on back of fur along both edges. Apply 5”-6” at a time.
Press one edge of fur on outside edge of jeans and other side on inside. Glue all the way around. Let dry.
Measure and cut ribbon and sequins to go around top edge of jeans. Leave a little longer to fold unfinished edges under.
Squeeze a bead of glue on back of ribbon, applying 5”-6” at a time. Press into place below fur line. Glue unfinished edges of ribbon under.
Glue sequins on top of fur.
Freehand scroll pattern on bottom of leg, using chalk pencil. Squeeze dots of Gold Fashion Bead Paint down leg and following chalk lines, Let dry.
- To wash, wait 72 hours. Machine wash warm on gentle cycle. Do not use harsh detergents or bleach. Remove promptly and line dry. To iron, turn garment inside out, being careful not to touch design with iron. Do not dry-clean.
