Weekend Ombre Baby Blanket

"I love using the thicker yarns to make quick, cozy baby blankets. This one is so lovely I really enjoy using it myself as a lapghan! The best part is that this is a very beginner-friendly half double crochet project that anyone can make! This blanket worked up so quickly I easily made it in a weekend, and I even think someone newer to crochet could make it in that time. It uses only half double crochet.
