"Have your cupcake and a birthday gnome too. I couldn’t make a Holiday Gnome series without a birthday gnome. I hope he brings a smile to your birthday friend’s face. Aren’t Birthdays wonderful? They are our personal holidays. I wanted to create a special crochet birthday gnome that would help you celebrate. Looking online all I saw was gnomes made with birthday fabric for their hat and that was not good enough. I thought about the cute little gnomes that had mushroom top hats and started thinking about birthday cupcakes. A gnome with a cupcake hat seemed perfect. "
