April Showers Shawl

"The April Showers Shawl is the perfect accessory for your milder weather wardrobe! The sweet little detail in the stitch pattern mimics the raindrops of April showers. This pattern is an easy two row repeat. It's worked from the widest part of the shawl down to the point. The only stitches you need to know are single crochet, double crochet and triple (treble) crochet. A size I/9 (5.25 mm) hook and medium weight size 4 yarn are used. There is a table included that gives you the option to make the shawl in any size from Youth to 5XL."

I've noticed that shawls and oversized scarves are really coming back into fashion with beautiful yarns that go with colors of the season. This is a shawl that looks so pretty to me. It has such a lacy look that it would be nice for a date night or a wedding party cover for the cooler evening hours at a reception. What a nice gift for anyone, teen to senior. This is an awesome, versatile pattern! How cute to make a youth sized shawl to match Mom's adult size garment for a cool spring day.
