Make a Small Decorative Sewing Kit

Portable Decorated Sewing Kit

You will need

1 cleaned out lipstick tube (from your mother)
1 piece of felt (about 3" by 4")
3 small safety pins
1 small needle
Several lengths of different colored threads

Attach pins and needle to felt and roll to fit in lipstick tube. Tie the colored threads around the roll and put in the tube. Decorate the tube with glue and small beads or stones. (Or whatever they wish...even paper) This is a cute gift for mother to carry in case she needs to mend something that tears.

I have always wondered when I get to the end of a lipstick what to do with the container. This is the first recycle project I have ever seen. Thank you so much.
