Don't spend $30 on a set of glass candle holders from IKEA when you can make your own for $6! These Glass Pedestal Flower Holders will give an elegant touch to your living room without breaking the bank. You can buy glass bowls and candlesticks at the dollar store for these super simple home decor ideas. Once you're done, you can place a candle inside each glass holder and anchor them with rocks, or you can use the containers to hold tropical flowers or houseplants. The end result will look much more expensive than it actually is.

This is a very practical idea and in addition to the dollar type stores you can find some great selections of vintage or older finds such as candle sticks, votive holders and various glassware and porcelain at garage and estate sales that would make a very unique and creative pedestal and flower holder or candle holder. And the great thing is that you would not find the same thing twice with found glassware. Great idea, thanks for sharing!

I love this idea. It's pretty, easy and inexpensive . The dollar store has dozens of different size glassware. I will have a ball picking out just what I want to make. You can get artificial plants with the roots showing and set them into a glass with the clear gel. There are so many ways to have fun with this idea.
