Tradition Parisian Beret

"The Parisian beret has a perfect pattern for practicing rib stitch with half treble crochets. The beret is made by almost only this stitch. It is made in two parts, part one is worked in the round based on a circle so it is worked in the round, the second part is a wide edge and is worked in rows. The two parts are worked together with simple single crochets. At first the pattern may seem difficult, but once you know the rib stitch it is quite easy to make! Counting rounds is very important!"
