This is really different with it's two-tone pattern of stitches. I really like the look of the design stitches. I haven't used this brand of yarn and I think it will be an interesting project. I think I'd like to try it in a wine color. It would also be pretty in a forest green color.

I like that this design has two distinct patterns. At opposite poles there is an obvious open weave at the wider end of the shawl and in reverse at the smaller end. I love that when it is wrapped around the neck how it looks. The color is one of my favorite and I can not wait to try the yarn selected to make this.

This is a totally different design. I haven't seen one like this before. It looks as if it would serve as an accessory rather than a shawl. It is easy to make as I noted while reading the directions. And it really take much yarn. So I will add this to my to do list.

This must be the shape of things to come when it comes to the shawl. This is the second pattern that I have run across with this unusual shape for a shawl. I am not totally on board with it yet and I guess until I see and feel it in person I will not not what my real feelings are towards it. Thanks for sharing this soft easy crochet shawl project.

These shawls that are designed to be made on the bias are an interesting sort to me. As far as functionality- providing coverage- it does not give too much. But if you want something with an interesting artful eye to it to just drape casually, then you have your shawl! I do love the color, so pretty!
