I absolutely love this basket. What a beautiful container to make for a gift for someone special. I'd be inclined to try making it after the holiday season. I would experiment with other color combinations too. I think it would be pretty in maroon, pink and white. Dark blue would be nice too, like a night sky with snowflakes. This would also be a pretty pattern for a bag or tote.
