The "Easy Plant Hanger" is a very minimalistic design that really resembles something that you might find at an Ikea store! It appears it is mainly comprised of long chains and worked in the round. I did not know there was a cotton yarn that was "dry", and that is the yarn she used here. It is just your basic 100% cotton kitchen yarn.

I need to make myself some of these! I'm happy to see this pattern. I admire the macram ones but try as I might I simply can't do them. Crochet I can do! I have several plants that should be hung so this solves my problem. I think I want to make a hanger from twine. It would be extra durable and strong to hang my heaviest planter. What would you use for a yarn substitute?

Talk about an easy project! If you can crochet single and double stitches you have this made. Just gather some of your yarn, you don't need much at all, less then a skein, and decide what pot you want to use and then you are ready to create. Read the directions and begin!
