"The Basketweave Blanket is a must make! With the right combination of front post and back post double crochet stitches, you can create this beautiful texture. For this pattern, I use a K (6.50mm) crochet hook, which allows you easily work around the posts of the stitch to quickly work up this pattern. You could make this blanket in any color scheme and the beautiful texture would shine through. If you know basic crochet stitches and are looking for expand with front posts stitches, this is the perfect blanket to expand those skills."

Every time I see a basket weave pattern I admire the texture of it and this blanket is no exception. It looks so pretty and soft. I have tried the technique once and it was not difficult at all. But since it has been a few years, it is great this particular project has a video to refresh my memory how to do it.

I love the basket weave design. It looks so complicated but it's really quite easy. Read the fire tions and take your time following them and you should not have a problem at all making this lovely project. Once you get the hang of it, trust me, it will become one of your favorites.
