"Gather up all your old thread spools or buy a bag of them at Goodwill and make this easy whimsical Thread Spool Christmas Tree. It is very easy to make the Christmas tree with cardboard or metal sheeting, glitter, glue, colorful thread spools of different sizes and a sturdy candlestick. The project takes about one hour to make and is a truly OOAK Christmas decoration that you can keep or give as a gift to someone who sews!"

I can see many unique ways to choose your candlesticks and thread spools to make one of these with a very modern flair. For instance, how about choosing your thread in varying shades of the same color? Pick a beautiful vintage candlestick or pillar holder. Say my candlestick is one of those milky white vintage glass ones, and my thread spools are all a pretty icy blue to teal colorway. Can you picture it? I know I can!
