Materials:
- STYROFOAM™ Brand Foam:
- Discs: 1" thick, one each 16" and 4"; two each 12", 10", 9" and 6"
- Scraps, 1" thick
- Specialty papers: textured**: corrugated, cross hatch, pebbled; silver mirrored tagboard; steel gray; black
- Acrylic craft paints: white, black
- Scissors
- Craft pins
- Toothpicks
- Picture hanging wire
- Thick white craft glue
- Low temperature glue gun and glue sticks

Instructions:
- Determine papers to be used on each disc. Place discs on reverse sides of papers and trace around discs with a pencil. Carefully cut out each circle. Cut coordinating 1" strips from each paper to cover the edges of each disc.
- Attach the paper strips to the edges first. Spread a thin, even layer of glue around edge of selected disc; adhere paper strip, pinning ends till dry. Repeat until edges of all discs are covered.
- Spread a thin, even layer of glue on top of disc and adhere paper circle. Smooth paper and if necessary, place book on top to weight paper while it dries. Repeat, covering all discs. Let dry.
- Referring to photo, arrange the discs on work surface (see diagram). Assemble sculpture using low temperature glue and toothpicks. To insert toothpicks between adjacent discs, cover one end of toothpick with glue and insert in foam disc; add glue to other end and insert in adjacent disc.
- If necessary, support larger discs underneath with a scrap piece of STYROFOAM™ brand foam inserted between discs. Let dry.
- Hang the sculpture using picture wire. Knot the ends of the wire and insert the knots into the surface of the STYROFOAM™ brand foam. Secure with a generous amount of low-temperature glue. Reinforce with a small square of paper glued over the area. Let glue dry completely before hanging.
