OMG! It has been so long since I have even been in the same room with a baby. Now, recently I have discovered my first cousin is expecting his first baby. With only having to use a single cake of yarn to make this, I know I can get it done really quickly in time for the upcoming baby shower.

I think eighteen inches by twenty one inches would be a rather small baby blanket. I may would consider it a receiving blanket but the use of the caron cakes to make it really presents a beautiful design. I guess if I want it larger I can use a second cake of yarn.
