I love these crochet baby blankets because the are so dainty looking and they wouldmake wonderful gifts for a new baby. You canmake them in the pink, blue, yellow.mint green or any color you choose. add a bow or even weave some ribbon between stitches . I have not crochet in years but with this tutorial I think it may be easy to pick up again.

I did the same thing as another poster. I printed out the picture and the stitch pattern showed up beautifully. It's a gorgeous design. Very delicate and feminine. Perfect for a little princess. And it's very easy to follow the pattern. I am not sure if my great niece is having a boy or girl so pastel green it is!

This is a great gift set! The Bernat baby yarn is very soft, too. Whenever it goes on sale I stock up because I know I'll be using it to make something. I just have to have an idea of what I'm going to make, like a plushie or blanket so I know many skeins to buy. There's nothing worse than running out of yarn before you finish the project only to find it's been discontinued or out of stock!

I chained 162 ch and continued working pattern-piece measures about 48", which I feel is too big. I can't figure out how to get it more like 30-36". Does anyone have any suggestions?

You can try using a smaller hook to get the gauge you want. I found that this works really well. I am glad you made this comment as I will start with a 3.0 hook instead of the 4.

Just finished this beautiful baby blanket. Was very easy and relaxing to work.

I couldn't see the pattern of the blanket fron the pic shown. So I copied and pasted it on a blank page in my Microsoft Word...and presto...BEAUTIFUL pattern...can't wait to make it..Thanks for sharing ...

PICTURE DOSE NOT SHOW THE BLANKET WELL.
