My favorite color for an afghan is black... Not only is it my fave color, in general, but it also hides all of the mistakes )

I love this pattern. I taught myself to crochet just to make a granny square blanket.

I LOVE the Roseanna Beck patterns. Fast, simple, easy to read instructions, love the close-up picture, and VERY BEAUTIFUL for as simple as they are. I have made several of them and wish I had time to make more. Thank you for displaying her designs. Sue N.

need to check your spelling on the word square

if spell check is the only thing you have in life to do, you need to get a life. Who cares if one little word is mispelled. If it is that important then you could say your user name is mispelled. Think about changing it to "get a life" Thanks for the Oh! What useful information you have!

Good morning I was wondering if you could PLEASE locate for me the crochet pattern called Scraps of Beauty by Leisure Arts. Thank you

Rubymay - Just saw your post of April 2011 seeking Scraps to Beauty Afghans by Leisure Arts. If it is Leaflet 163 published in the 1980's and featuring 3 or 4 patterns - I have an extra one I would be happy to send you - if you haven't already connected with this leaflet. It's creased in the center, but all photos and directions are perfectly clear. If interested, contact me at eazpena@hotmail.com with Scraps to Beauty in the subject line. Lynn

Thank You for your help and more good ideas to try

To keep your afghans from getting fuzzy until they are finished keep them in a big pillow case,it also keeps them from getting dirty.makes it a lot easier to turn so you can start another row.

That's an amazing idea! Thanks so much for the tip!
