- Place each mitten on a fabric square; trace around mittens and cut out fabrics. Hint: for variety, turn some mittens over before tracing, so mittens will face in the opposite direction. Glue fabric to mittens.

We angled the mittens a little. We turned four mittens upside down. It gave some dimention to the wreath instead just looking so circular. We also added lights. We used two strands of 20 lights (40 total).

This would also be a cute idea for a Valentine's Day party or month decoration, substituting cut out hearts for mittens, in colors of pink, red and white.

This mitten wreath could be done with those mittens who have lost their mates. Especially for someone who does not sew and even for those who do.

That was my first thought when I saw the picture...."real" mittens would be a "warm" look to the wreath!
