Materials List

  • Toilet Paper Roll
  • Ribbons
  • Scissors
  • Cutter
  • Ruler
  • Pencil
  • Tape

Instructions

  1. Mark 1/2 inch rings on toilet paper roll.

  2. Cut out rings with cutter and neaten edges with scissors. Each roll should make about 6/7.

  3. Wrap ribbon over each ring tightly and secure with tape.

  4. Break off bottom part of the hanger.

  5. Tape a row of rings side by side with the inclined part of the hanger.

  6. Tape additional rings below the above rings.

  7. Don't tape too many rings below as the bottom rings will be too low and scarf might touch wardrobe floor.

I have not made this yet, but it's that time of year when I'll be pulling out all of our scarfs and they will need a home. This Simple DIY Scarf Hanger is one of the best ideas I have seen to date for keeping scarfs in one place. I'll also recycle a few toilet paper rolls, a win win! Looking forward to making this one and a few extras for my adult children. Thank you so much for sharing this free craft idea.
