Spring Tags

Decorate cards and gifts with these cute Spring Tags.  The great thing about these easy Spring crafts is that you can decorate them however you'd like, and you won't believe how quick and fun they are to make.  Perfect as a substitute for a last minute card, these sweet paper tags from Fiskars are great for using up scrap pieces of paper and are easy for any level of crafter.

(All tags measure 3" x 5". All corners rounded.)

Tag: Hello Spring

  1. To create this mini scenery, border punch the grass and work your way up. Add a flower to the handcut stem, then split the Leafin' Around punched shapes for the leaves. Scatter a few multi-colored mini butterflies and a cloud in the sky.

Tag: Butterfly Kisses

  1. Add movement on this tag by punching several scroll shapes to show the path of the fluttering butterfly. Having the punched shapes "bleed" off the edge of the tag adds interest, too. To continue with the butterfly theme, I added a row of border punched butterflies at the bottom of the tag.

Tag: A Beautiful Day

  1. Wings = petals. The Love Takes Flight large squeeze punch had me stumped until I discovered that I can create a large flower by assembling the wings in a circular fashion.

  2. Create a 1 1/2 inch vertical border using the Leaves border punch. Assemble the large flower using 10 individual wings to make the 10-petal flower, then top this with 2 layers of Daisy flowers for the center. So easy!

  3. There are so many ways to use these punches in different and innovative ways. These Fiskars punches will add "wow" to any of your spring-themed projects. Have fun playing!
